August 2026: What's New in Bambi
Last updated: August 24, 2026
August's product releases focus on two things operators deal with every day: getting invoices out the door the way your payers expect them, and giving facilities faster, clearer trip communication.
Here is everything that shipped this month.
Billing names on invoices
If your registered organization name is not the name your payers know you by, your invoices no longer have to show it. Owners and admins can now set a Billing Name that appears on invoices in place of the organization name. Set it once and every invoice you generate uses it. New to invoicing in Bambi? Start with How to create and edit invoices.
A smarter accept and reject flow for wait and return trips
Wait and return trips now have a dedicated accept and reject flow. If one leg is rejected and the other is accepted, Bambi automatically breaks the wait and return pairing so the accepted leg can be assigned and dispatched normally. No more stuck pairs when only half of a round trip can be covered.
Leg order on multi-leg trips
Multi-leg trips now display the order of each leg, based on each trip's scheduled pickup time. Dispatchers can see at a glance which leg comes first, second, and third instead of reconstructing the sequence from pickup times. See How to Add a Leg to an Existing Trip for building multi-leg trips.
Pricing on the public trip request form
Your public trip request form can now show pricing to the person requesting the trip. The option is controlled per embed and is turned off by default, so nothing changes unless you enable it for a specific form. Incoming requests work the same as always; see How to manage trip requests.
Also new this month
Passenger tags now appear directly below the passenger dropdown on the trip form, so dispatchers see tags at the moment they select a passenger.
Two new notification types: owners and admins are notified when a vehicle inspection report is created with a failed item, and facility users and admins are notified when a trip is accepted or rejected.
Notification emails now include a link to manage your individual delivery settings, so each user can control what lands in their inbox.
Invoice improvements: choose a sort order when downloading a single invoice PDF, and invoices generated through the payment link workflow can now include a QR code in the header (on by default for that workflow only).
The QuickBooks invoice export now includes the trip's space type.
