How to manage trip requests
Last updated: July 1, 2026
Some trips may come into your Bambi dashboard as Trip Requests. Trip requests can be submitted in three ways:
from the Facility Portal
from the embedded Trip Request Form on your website
from certain trip broker integrations.
How can I tell I have new trip requests?
The Trips tab in the top navigation menu on your Bambi dashboard will have a red dot indicator showing the number of requests you have pending. Go to the Trips page, and you'll see the same red indicator on the All Requests tab. Click that tab to see all of your pending requests.
Trip Requests on Dispatch
You can also see pending Trip Requests on the Dispatch page, but it does not tell you specifically how many there are. Trip Requests will appear in the Unassigned column on the left side of the Dispatch page: in this column, the card for each trip request has an entirely blue background (regular trips have a white background, will-call trips have a purple background).
How do I accept or reject a trip request?
There are two places where you can manage trip requests: the Trips page and the Dispatch page. On the Trips page, you will manually accept or reject each trip. On the Dispatch page, you can manually accept or reject each trip, or you can allow Run Bambi Run to accept trips for you.
On the Trips page
Navigate to the Trips page from the top navigation menu.
Click the All Requests tab.
Review the request list.
Click the Requested button for a request in the right-hand column
Select Accept or Reject.
If you reject the request, you may be asked to select from a pre-defined list of reasons. Select the applicable reason.
On the Dispatch page
Manually
Navigate to the Dispatch page from the top navigation menu.
Locate a trip request in the Unassigned column on the left side of the page; it will have an entirely blue background.
Click the three dots menu on that trip.
Select Accept or Reject from the menu.
If you reject the request, you may be asked to select from a pre-defined list of reasons. Select the applicable reason.
Run Bambi Run
If you Run Bambi Run with Trip Requests, they are automatically accepted when you apply the Run Bambi Run suggested assignments.
Run Bambi Run does not automatically reject Trip Requests. You still need to manually reject any trips you do not wish to accept.
