How to view trip update history

Last updated: June 25, 2026

There are many reasons why you may want to view the entire update history of a trip, such as to determine who (or when) made a specific change or to review the GPS or signature logs for that trip.

You can find this information in the Trip Summary in Bambi.

To view the Trip Summary:

  1. From the Trips or Dispatch screen, find and click on the trip.

  2. Click the three dots menu.

  3. Select View Summary from the menu.

The Trip Summary page has two main sections: the left side of the page is an event log, and the right side of the page is a map that shows the GPS locations where relevant updates were made (mainly trip status changes made by the driver).

Event Log

The event log list shows you every update that was made to the trip in Bambi. This could include:

  • Creating the trip

  • Editing the trip fields (including adding a price)

  • Assigning or unassigning the trip

  • Changing the trip status (either by the driver, or by dispatch)

  • Cancelling or uncancelling the trip

  • When the driver entered and left the vicinity of the pickup and dropoff locations (within 300 meters of the location's GPS coordinates)

For each event logged, we show you who made the update, what was updated, and a timestamp of when the updated was made.

Map

The map shows you the GPS locations where the driver was located when they made each status change on the trip. The map pins are color-coded to match the trip status in the event log. If you click on a specific status change event in the event log list, it will highlight that specific GPS location on the map.

It may be hard to see some of the GPS markers when they are marking the same location - for example, the driver was likely in the same spot when they tapped "at pickup" and "transporting" on a curb-to-curb trip, so those markers will be in the same spot on the map and one will cover the other.
