Initial Setup

Create a Payer for SafeRide on the Payers page. Let Bambi Support know that you would like to import rides from SafeRide, and we will enable the import integration for you.

Import trips from SafeRide into Bambi

Step 1: Export trips from SafeRide

In your SafeRide portal, there are two ways to export trips:

Basic Export (Recommended)

In the top-right corner of your SafeRide portal, you have the option to export today's or next day's rides. Choose one and download the corresponding .csv file.

Expanded Export (not recommended)

In the bottom-left corner of your SafeRide portal, there is an option to Export Rides. We don't recommend using this method, as it is much more complicated to set up the download. This video explains more.

Step 2: Upload trips into Bambi

1. Navigate to the Trips page in your Bambi dashboard.

2. Click the Upload button in the top right corner.

3. Choose SafeRide in the Payer dropdown.

4. In the Template dropdown, you will have two options: SafeRide Basic and SafeRide Expanded. Make sure you choose the one that corresponds to the way you exported the trips from SafeRide in Step 1.

5. Click Upload, choose your .csv file, and follow the prompts to correct any formatting errors and complete the upload.

Export trips from Bambi into SafeRide

You'll need to export your completed trips from Bambi and upload them back to SafeRide for billing purposes.

1. Navigate to the Trips page in your Bambi dashboard.

2. Click the Download button in the top right corner.

3. Select For a Payer Portal and click Next.

4. Select SafeRide from the Payer dropdown.

5. Enter your desired filters for the date range, trip status, etc.

6. Click Export as CSV.

7. Take the .csv file and upload it into SafeRide.
