How to Manually Revert a Trip Status
Last updated: March 27, 2026
Occasionally, a driver might accidentally tap "Start Transport" or "Complete Trip" in their driver app before the ride actually takes place, or perhaps the trip was meant to be canceled instead. When a trip is accidentally marked as completed, you can easily revert its status directly from your dispatch screen to correct the timeline.
Follow these simple steps to undo a status change and reset the trip:
Step 1: Locate the Completed Trip
Navigate to your main Dispatch screen. Find the specific trip block that has been incorrectly marked as "Completed" [00:00].
Step 2: Access the Trip Options
Click on the trip block to expand it. Then, click the three vertical dots (⋮) located in the corner of the trip block to open the options menu [00:20].
Step 3: Revert the Status
From the dropdown menu, select Revert status. This will instantly step the trip's status backward from "Completed" to the previous active state [00:24].
Step 4: Manually Change Status (If Necessary)
If you need to move the trip all the way back to its very beginning state, you can continue adjusting it.
Click the three vertical dots (⋮) again.
Hover over Change Status.
Select Assigned (or whichever status is appropriate) to fully reset the trip on the driver's board [00:30].
Your trip is now restored to the proper status and ready to be processed accurately.
