How to Activate Will-Call Trips in Bambi: NEMT Driver App

Activating a will-call trip directly from the Bambi: NEMT Driver App ensures you can seamlessly integrate a passenger's return trip into your current route as soon as they are ready for pickup.

Follow these simple steps to activate a will-call trip from your mobile device.

Step 1: Navigate to the Active Tab

From your main driver dashboard, locate the bottom navigation menu and tap the Active tab in the center of your screen [00:05].

Step 2: Open Your Will-Call List

At the top of the Active screen, you will see a section labeled Will-Call Trips along with a number indicating how many you have pending. Tap this section to expand the list and view all of your current will-call assignments for the day [00:12].

Step 3: Select and Activate

Scroll through the list to find the specific passenger who is ready for their trip. Tap the Activate Will-Call button located directly beneath their trip details [00:23].

Step 4: Confirm the Activation

A confirmation pop-up will appear on your screen asking, "Are you sure you want to activate this will-call trip?" Tap Activate to verify [00:28].

Step 5: Start the Trip

Once successfully activated, the trip will instantly move out of the will-call section and drop into your standard Assigned queue [00:33]. You can now locate the trip on your active screen and tap the Start Trip button to begin navigating to the passenger.
