How to bulk upload / import trips using the Bambi Bulk template
Last updated: July 22, 2026
When you have a large volume of trips to schedule, Bambi's Bulk Upload tool lets you import them all at once from a standardized spreadsheet. Follow these steps to download the official template, fill it in, and import your trips.
Do not edit or remove the column headings from the Bambi Bulk template, and do not add extra columns.
Step 1: Download the Bambi Bulk upload template
Navigate to the Trips page from the top navigation menu.
Click the overflow menu (three lines) near the top right corner of the page and select Upload from the menu.
In the upload window, click the Payer dropdown and select Multiple Payers.
Select the Bambi Bulk template from the template list.
Click the Download the sample template link to save the spreadsheet to your computer.
Step 2: Fill in your trip data
Open the template in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Sample rows are included to show the correct formatting.
Columns marked with an asterisk (*) in the header are required (columns A through K). All other columns are optional.
Enter your passenger and trip data, then save the file as a .csv.
Step 3: Import your trips into Bambi
Return to the Trips page on Bambi.
Click the overflow menu (three lines) near the top right corner of the page and select Upload from the menu.
In the upload window, click the Payer dropdown and select Multiple Payers.
Select the Bambi Bulk template from the template list.
Select your completed file and continue.
You may be prompted to map columns from your file to the corresponding Bambi fields. Make sure all required fields (marked with a *) are mapped.
You may be prompted to correct formatting issues on the next page. Phone numbers and dates are the most common things that need to be corrected; click the button to automatically fix all issues.
Click Import. A success notification will confirm how many trips were imported.
To verify your upload:
Wait on the Trips page until the import finishes processing. A success notification will pop up in the top right corner if the import completed successfully. If there were any errors, a list will appear at the top of the page.
If there are issues with the imported trips, you cannot import again to fix them (Bambi does not currently allow bulk editing). Instead, you'll need to delete all of the imported trips, then you can import again with your corrected file.
