Last updated: March 27, 2026
When you have a large volume of trips to schedule, manually entering each one can be time-consuming. The Bambi platform features a streamlined Bulk Upload tool that allows you to import multiple trips at once using a standardized spreadsheet template.
Follow this guide to download the required template, fill it out accurately, and seamlessly import your trips into the system.
Phase 1: Downloading the Bulk Upload Template
To ensure your data formats correctly, you must use the official Bambi sample template.
Navigate to the Trips section from your main navigation menu [00:00].
Look to the top right side of the screen and click the Upload button [00:07].
In the upload window, click the Payer dropdown menu and select Multiple Payers [00:12].
An option will appear allowing you to Download the sample template. Click this link to save the spreadsheet to your computer [00:18].
Phase 2: Preparing Your Trip Data
Open the downloaded template in your preferred spreadsheet software (like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets).
You will see sample trips provided as examples to show you how the data should be formatted [00:24].
Required Fields: Pay close attention to columns A through K. You will notice these columns have an asterisk (*) next to their headers, indicating that they are strictly required fields and must be filled out for the upload to work [00:31].
All other columns without an asterisk are completely optional.
Phase 3: Importing Your Trips into Bambi
Once you have filled in your passenger and trip details, save the spreadsheet to your device.
Return to the Bambi portal and click the Upload button again [00:42].
Select your newly saved file from your computer to prep it for upload.
Click Import [00:54].
The system will process your file, and you will see a success notification confirming how many trips were successfully imported into your account [01:05].
Step 4: Verify Your Upload
To confirm that your trips are correctly placed on the schedule, stay in the Trips section and use the date filter. Select the specific "Date of Trip" that you entered into your spreadsheet, and your newly imported passengers will be displayed and ready for dispatch [01:11].
