Bulk upload Passengers

When you are first starting out with Bambi, you may have a database of existing passengers that you would like to copy from your old dispatch system into Bambi. You can do this from the Passengers page in your Bambi dashboard.

You'll need to download the Passengers Sample Template and fill it in, being careful to match the formatting of the template exactly.

To download the Passengers Sample Template

1. Navigate to the Passengers page.

2. Click the three lines menu at the top right corner of the page (beside the Add Passenger button).

3. Select Upload Passengers.

4. Click the Sample Template link to download the passenger template.

Once you download the Sample Template, fill it in with the passenger information from your previous system and save the file as a .csv. Now, you're ready to upload!

To bulk upload Passengers into Bambi:

1. Navigate to the Passengers page.

2. Click the three lines menu at the top right corner of the page (beside the Add Passenger button).

3. Select Upload Passengers.

4. Click the Import button.

5. Follow the prompts on screen to select your .csv file.

You may be prompted to fix formatting errors or to map columns from your file to corresponding Bambi fields. The on-screen guidance will usually tell you what specifically needs to be fixed, but sometimes it is not in the most obvious place - read carefully to identify what needs to be fixed and how.
