Create and Edit Trip Subscriptions

Last updated: May 27, 2026

Trip Subscriptions in Bambi are a great way to automatically create regular, recurring trips for a passenger.

To create a Trip Subscription:

  1. Navigate to the Trips page in your Bambi dashboard.

  2. Click the Subscriptions tab.

  3. Click the Create Subscription button in the top right corner of the page.

  4. Fill out all of the required trip information.

  5. Select which days of the week this trip repeats on, and the Pickup Time (and Appointment Time, if applicable) for each day. If any day requires a round trip, set that in the same section.

  6. Click Save.

To view the details of an existing Trip Subscription:

  1. Navigate to Trips > Subscriptions in your Bambi dashboard.

  2. Locate the desired subscription.

  3. Click the down-arrow on the left side of the subscription, next to the checkbox.

To edit an existing Trip Subscription:

  1. Navigate to Trips > Subscriptions in your Bambi dashboard.

  2. Locate the desired subscription.

  3. Click the three dots menu on the right side of the subscription and select Edit.

  4. Make your desired changes and click Save.

To cancel or delete an existing Trip Subscription:

  1. Navigate to Trips > Subscriptions in your Bambi dashboard.

  2. Locate the desired subscription.

  3. Click the three dots menu on the right side of the subscription and select Delete.

  4. A confirmation message will pop up. Double-check that you are sure, and that you are deleting the correct subscription, before you proceed.

  5. Click the Delete button to confirm your choice and delete the subscription.

Only Owner and Admin type users can Delete all of the trips associated with a subscription. If your user account is a Dispatcher type, you can delete the subscription, but all future trips will be Canceled instead of Deleted.

Why does my subscription only show trips up to a certain date? The subscription doesn't expire until much later!

When you create a Trip Subscription, Bambi will automatically generate four weeks worth of trips. We then run a nightly "subscription batch" which will generate an additional day of trips as needed, ensuring there are always four rolling weeks of trips available for each subscription (unless the subscription ends sooner).

For example:

I create a Trip Subscription that runs Monday - Friday starting today, Monday, January 1.

Bambi creates all of the Trips for the next 4 weeks when I save the subscription. If I look at the Trips page, I can see that Passenger's trips through Friday, January 26.

On Monday night, January 1, the subscription batch will run and add the Trips for Monday, January 29.

On Tuesday night, January 2, it will automatically add trips for Tuesday, January 30.

On Wednesday night, January 3, it will automatically add trips for Wednesday, January 31.

This will continue daily until the subscription ends, making sure there are always 4 rolling weeks of trips in the system. Once the trips are generated for the last day of the subscription, it will not create any further trips for that subscription.
