Pricing

Last updated: July 13, 2026

Pricing allows you to configure exactly how much you charge for each trip, based on the specific information in each trip. You can create multiple Pricing Schemes to cover almost any type of fee you can think of -- base fees, mileage rates, no-shows, after-hours, holidays, and more.

To add a Pricing Scheme:

  1. Navigate to the Pricing page from the top navigation menu.

  2. Click the Add Pricing Scheme button.

  3. Configure the Base Pricing Configuration. These settings will determine which trips are covered by this specific Pricing Scheme.

    • Name - use a unique name so you can tell it apart at a glance.

    • Payers - select all of the Payers this pricing scheme applies to.

    • Space Type - each Pricing Scheme can only cover one Space Type (wheelchair, ambulatory, etc.). See below for instructions on how to use the same pricing configuration on different Space Types.

    • Service Types - select all of the Service Types (door-to-door, curb-to-curb, etc.) included in this Pricing Scheme.

    • Mileage Range - used to restrict pricing to specific distance/range and to create Tiered Mileage Pricing.

    • Start and End Date - enter when this pricing takes effect, and when it expires. For open-ended pricing with no expiration, use a far-future date like 12/31/2100.

    • Description - (optional) use this field to provide a more detailed description of what this pricing means to your organization.

    Long Distance Mileage Rate: $5

    Long Distance Start: 20 miles

If you have a 35-mile trip, Bambi will calculate the price as $2/mi for the first 20 miles ($40) plus $5/mi for the remaining 15 miles ($75), for a total price of $115.

Cancellation Fees

  • Late Cancellation Fee: The fee charged for cancellations made within the Late Cancellation Time Window.
