User did not receive Bambi invitation email

Last updated: July 10, 2026

When you create a new User Account, we automatically send an email to that user inviting them to set a password and log in to Bambi.

If the user doesn't receive this invitation email, it isn't necessarily a problem; they can go directly to app.hibambi.com to log in, and they can click the "Forgot Password" link on the login page to set a password (or reset if they've forgotten it).

Users must be able to receive emails from Bambi in order to set or reset their password. We require all users to enter a verification code when to reset a password; we send that code to the user's email address.

It's a good idea to investigate why the user didn't receive the invitation email, so you can ensure they'll be able to receive the verification code.

Confirm their email address

The most common reason reason users don't get the invitation email is because there is a mistake or typo in the email address on their Bambi user account. Go to Team > User Accounts, check that their email address is accurate, and edit it to correct any issues.

Facility admins and users

If the user is a Facility admin or Facility user, it is also possible that their organization's IT policies block automated emails from outside systems. This is a very common security practice in healthcare organizations, especially hospitals. The user should check with their IT team to see if Bambi's email domains can be whitelisted for their organization:

Use a different email

If none of the above options solve the issue, ask them to use a different email address for their Bambi login. Edit their user account and change the email, save, and then have them go to app.hibambi.com and try to reset their password with the new email address.
